Clear chambered miniature gun with rifled barrel

Unread postAuthor: SpudBlaster15 » Fri Feb 23, 2007 8:40 pm

Well, this is my latest ghetto gun. The chamber consists of 2 small paint bottles. I cut the bottom off of one and the top off of the other, and combined the 2 pieces using friction and thumb tacks, to form a chamber that allows me to breech load, and vent effectively (without a hole in the front and back, it takes too much effort to vent). The barrel is a crayola twistable pen tube, it is perfectly rifled. I shoot pencils, paper balls, and airsoft BBs with wadding.

Nice, but I'd say that twist rate is WAY to steep for "rifling".

Nope, it works great. Much more accurate than a smooth barrel, I can actually hit people with spitballs.

I must agree with Markfh11q,the rate of the rifling twist is way to steep.

It would hinder performance more then it would help the projectile to fly with a spin.

Although it is a nice looking mini indeed :) .

Perhaps in theory, but in practice, matters are completely different (as I stated earlier).
