Every time I see your name Fnord, I'm reminded of Pink & the Brain. Good times, good times.....

I always choose Fn-ord, if I must pronounce it. When I first saw it, I even half assumed it was a mis-spell of Fjord - as the J and N keys are immediately next to each other - and I've always sort of thought of it like that.

My own avatar is a Grey Wolf, just because I like wolves.

You see, I had a Thermite reaction I was setting off with an explosive charge... You know, it's rather surreal to start a sentence like that...

My username is what it is because I thought it was awesome...and still do.
It's my favourite song of all time and it's by Ozzy Osbourne.

My avatar is what it is for a similar reason, I also own the LP.

And my signature is what it is because Sharon Osbourne is a money-grubbing wh0re and re-recorded Blizzard of Ozz and Diary Of a Madman albums in 2002 without the original bassist and drummer Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake.

Because they were suing her for royalties which she and Ozzy never paid, so they just got Ozzy's current bassist and drummer to re-record all the songs by Bob and Lee and problem solved, no royalties to pay.And SATO is a song on Diary Of a Madman.

Just as a question MrC, do you know anything about the Crowley that the song refers to?

OK, just wondering. He's just, well, let's just say he's not the kind of guy I'd find myself hanging out with.

I'm a fan of it as well, although it's not my favourite of all time.

My favourite of all time will be "Hard times to fall" released in October 2189 by Maroon Puma (They were running out of good original band names by then). It's a cover, and not everyone is be a fan of it, but I myself think it's a very good reworking of the original, but with late 20th century sounds mixed in, as well as hints of the late baroque classical period.
It's a surprisingly effective combination, with the reluctance loop guitars using the outdated pentatonic riff structure (most music was switched to a decimal system in 2072) and reactive percussion fusing well with the synthesised harpsichord and the classic sound of late 21st century verdolins (it's a stringwind instrument).
I would send the mp84 out for those without a time machine, but I don't think you'll have the playback codecs.

Of music released today, my absolute favourite can be nothing but Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven", perhaps a little clichéd, but in my entire life, I have never heard a better song.

Based on my calculations (pulling stuff outa my ass...) I came up with 46%

Considering how many people I've seen miss-spell your user name that way...

Yes and yes.

Where does the name thunderlord come from? Did us senior members give it to you when you joined?

I love Pinky and the Brain, good times indeed...

I had a movie or something of theirs on video, I think it included other characters too but I forgot what it's called and can't find it :(

Pinky: "Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?"
The Brain: "The same thing we do every night, Pinky- try to take over the world."

My username is what it is, because it is my username (this is not the first thing I have ever done on a computer...)
My sig and avatar are what they are because I fully support the cause.

My only suggestion is to not make your name all caps. It makes it hard to read, and confirms that you are ~14 years old. (Not trying to flame you THUNDERLOARD, you seem to have an excuse)

You're wrong. :)

I never actually tried to say it, but I would think it was pronounced: FFFF-Nord (without the E)... By the way your avatar makes me giggle every time I see it. :D

I happen to be an Ozzy fan to. :D... Not so much of "MrCrowley"... "Crazy Train" would have to be my favorite, though there are about 194663481 different versions of it now.

Oh yeah if there are any HUGE Randy Rhoads fans like me, I may put up my personal computer collection of stuff for download.

About 450 pictures from Quiet Riot and Ozzy era, and pre-QR.

40 full concert audio bootlegs from the Ozzy era, about 4 or 5 from the QR era.

7 or 8 audio interviews from the Ozzy era, 1 from QR.

All records with QR and Ozzy.

9 TV show segments from the Ozzy era

6 Ozzy era music videos

2 sound checks (video) from Ozzy era

7 songs from two concerts with Ozzy (video)

9 songs from two concerts with QR (video)

3 video interviews from QR

1 QR music video

And I think that's it. Pretty much all video footage available excluding the odd QR concert. I've got the best bootlegs but there are probably another 20 or so from Ozzy and the odd one from QR I don't have but they're usually inaudible.

And I have the best pictures of about 2000 from an archive, that's no longer available for some reason, but most of the 1600 left are bad quality.
