You know, when I read this:

... I didn't exactly expect to read about a super fortress for fending off zombies with a seemingly endless budget and ammo supply - and to top it off, a giant nuke and spaceport in the middle of it.

You know, you have a somewhat warped idea of what reality is actually like. :P

I mean it is possible, not exactly in modern reality. I mean, the money evolved is great, depending on the materials used. Each wall could be made of basic mesh fencing, the high wall could be basic concrete. Plus we could steal a 500mt from the dead soviet union. One thing we could say though, Russia would probably just die in the zombie uprising. Things would change by the time we make a zombie virus. If such a thing could happen it would be synthesized from rabbies and modified, and would probably happen after 50 years

Really? Unless you have a time machine, that could be hard, as I made a zombie virus 6 months back - and to play it on the safe side, I've got a cure for it too.

However, the lycanthrope virus I made has proven much more useful.
It's a bit like the cowpox/smallpox thing, where having the fairly mild cowpox made you immune to smallpox. By being a werewolf, I'm immune to becoming either a zombie or vampire.

And it's not as bad as you might think being a werewolf - I can turn whenever I want, and contrary to popular myth, you're not forced to turn at the full moon, although my rate of hair growth does increase around that sort of time, so I usually end up with quite an impressive beard if I don't shave for a couple of days around the full moon.

The only real downside is that silver is now poisonous to me to about the same extent that lead is to normal humans, so I have to remember to wash my hands after handing it and before eating.

:D :D

really? you should sell it to the States. They would use it on their soldiers and you'd be rich. Then again, what happens if your werewolf virus mutates
and it becomes a crazy werewolf virus? Then we wuld have a similar problem except that zombies are faster, better hunters, and, well better. So you just basically screwed us man!
We should burn you at the stake for creating this virus! :brave: :cussing: :D

What do mean "If it mutates into a crazy werewolf virus"?
I made it - do you imagine it was a sane werewolf virus in the first place? :D

Well, viruses reproduce rather quickly, as they invade the cells of its host. It rapidly reproduces in those cells, then the cell dies and bursts releasing more virus bodies into the organsim. That means evolution happens faster as the organism replicates its DNA faster. Also, a single tiny, piece of that DNA could break, changing the very way an organism exists. So your Virus could quickly go out of control. Of course since you are talking about yourself, you may not think you are insane, but, no one thinks bad about themselves. Adolf Hitler though he was doing the right thing. We both know he wasnt.

I know I'm nuts...

Anyway, why should a werewolf virus drive me more nuts than say... a cold does? They're both viruses, although where one gives the recipient a nasty sniffle, the other turns them into a killing machine.

Besides, not all viruses kill off their host cell... they've actually worked on this kind of thing as a "cure" for some genetic diseases, like cystic fibrosis.
What they can do is genetically modify a virus so that it alters the genetics of cells with mutant alleles, giving them a functional allele, at least temporarily.

It's actually damned clever - using a virus to physically alter an affected individual's genetics.

What about a zeppelin? Zombies can't fly, and you only need to drop down every now and then to stock up food and water.

  I LOL'd For the last two pages and I'm on borrowed computer in the PUBLIC LIBRARY!!! Geez, I had to cover my mouth and everyone's looking at me now! :D You should give some warning before stuff like that Rag. (and Magnum although his were meant seriously?).

The zeppelin idea is interesting. Also there's (#? lazy now) about 6-7 lines where air moves 1-300mph constantly around the globe!
The Jetstream also called the "Divine wind" by Japanese in WW2.
I was reading where they made unmanned ballons with time released bombs, tried to hit California.
But only years after the war a boy scout troop fumbled across one, thinking it was a weather balloon and a few got blown up.
The only casualties inflicted by them and after the war.
The US Gov't knew during the war, but didn't tell anyone because of panic it would cause. One of the reasons the US may have been provoked towards using the A-Bomb on them.

BTW I was going to quote what I found funny (2-Pages) but it's too much! 8)

Have you seen: "dawn of the dead", "van helsing", "underworld", or any other zombie or werewolf movie? Because unless your basing your opinion on Bad Ash from "Army of Darkness"(all the other zombies/undead in that movie also back my POV), I'm completely going to have to disagree.

That is all.

Thank you, and just to mention it, your off topic on a "endless topic" creating a new "endless (and lame) topic" FYI.

EDIT: "I am legend" doesn't count, because: 1 there is a "happy" ending, and 2 the black guy simply lives too long for a zombie flick, therefore the people in the movie are simply not zombies, oh and they aren't corpse like enough either, no peeling flesh.

When I think of zombies, I usually think of the ones from the 28 *unit of time* Later movies - relatively clumsy and slow, move in packs, not particulary intelligent, and, like Ebola virus, so effective that they consume all available hosts and either starve or go into hibernation after a few weeks.

I think he may have meant werewolf, rather than zombie.
And werewolves are faster, stronger and tougher than humans - trust me.
