That would be Plagerizum, and i would rather write my own. I have read so many different type's of repair manaul's it's rediculuse, most of them if you didn't have a good idea of what your doing allready, it would just confuse you. For example: Hains auto repair manaule's, never ever waste your money on one of them, or those multi model small engine manaule's, very confuseing. Allways buy factory repair manaule's. Thats why i would rather write my own articals, i can write them more to the point, a easier read.

if i can get an car alternater i would hook up a air pump and then i would be able to have some sort of "weapon platform" or even a supercharger on the kart lol

that thing he used so he can adjust belt tension is pretty neat, wonder how to make that...

i got another dilema, should i:
make my engine mount so the engine can move back and forth?
or
keep it in one position and have a idler sprocket?

btw i am working on the suspension page of the wiki right now

This is the post i edited: A centrifugal clutch is an automatic clutch that is attached directly onto the engine shaft which attaches to shoes and usually has a small sprocket or pulley attached to the drum of the clutch. This type of clutch has basically two essential parts, the drum and two or more shoes that are held together by springs. When the engine is running slowly, the shoes are away from the drum, thus the engine can run while the kart is not moving, allowing the kart to idle. While the engine is accelerating beyond a certain RPM (revolutions per minute), the shoes are forced out by centrifugal force and makes contact with the drum, and the entire assembly spins, and the wheels are driven.

Here is the edited verision: A centrifugal clutch is an automatic clutch that is attached directly onto the engine crankshaft. Clutch parts: sprocket/drum/flyweights or clutch shoe's/flyweight springs/drive hub. When the engine is running slowly, the flyweights are held away from the drum by the flyweight springs, thus the engine can run and the go cart wont move, allowing the go cart to idle. While the engine is accelerating beyond a certain RPM (revolutions per minute), the flyweights are forced out by centrifugal force and makes contact with the drum, and the entire assembly spins, and the wheels are driven.

It's shorter but i think it's easier to follow.

I will do 1 a night for you and anybody else thats interested. If you want me to do a certin one give me a link and i'll do the 1 you want, if you want me to.

No, that wont work, two entirely different type of machines. Any type of wire feeding welder has a drive that pushes the wire out through the whip and gun, a arc welder doesn't have a drive.

If you want to see any progress i made, click here

http://www.freewebtown.com/makeagokart/mygokart.htm

oh, i settled for using pedals, not a stick, i might get disk brakes, using 8" wheels with 60 teeth sprocket, and 12 teeth on the clutch, i want the brakes engaged so when i yank the cord, the thing doesnt get pulled along

this website is a good place to buy keyed shafts and keystock,Are you going to use a live, spinning rear axle ,or a solid mounted ,non-spinning one?you need a live rear axle to use disc brakes
