A Police STOP at 2 AM

An elderly man is stopped by the police around 2 a.m. And is asked where he is going at this time of night.

The man replies, "I am on my way to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body, as well as a moralizing talk on sexually transmitted diseases, smoking tobacco products and staying out late."

The officer then asks, "Really? Who is giving that lecture at this time of night?"

The man replies, "That would be my wife."

A highway patrolman pulled alongside a speeding car on the freeway. Glancing at the driver, he was astounded to see that the woman behind the wheel was knitting!

Realizing that she was oblivious to his flashing lights and siren, the trooper cranked down his window, turned on his bullhorn, and yelled, PULLOVER!"

"NO," the woman yelled back, "IT'S A SCARF!"

This topic reached 100 pages in about 10 months, back in October. Four months later, we hit 200. If we want the trend to continue, we'll have to hit 300 in April sometime :D

It makes me wonder if getting rid of the off-topic section way back when was truly a good idea. I haven't done any actual analysis, but it seems like this thread has seen at least as much activity in the last year as the rest of Spudfiles combined.

A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote:"I would very much like to bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?"

An immediate reply came from the hotel owner, who said, "I've been operating this hotel for many years. In all that time, I've never had a dog steal towels, bedclothes, silverware or pictures off the walls. I've never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. And I've never had a dog run out on a hotel bill.

Yes, indeed, your dog is welcome at my hotel. And, if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here, too."

I wish the media would stop kicking the crap out of Bobby Brown, blaming him as the cause of her problems while portraying her as angelic. Unless the physical laws of the universe have recently changed, water still seeks its own level, and they were married for 15 years.

Hey guys, here with a little bit of news... My Grandfather passed away this morning, and it is really hitting my dad hard. Never seen him this way before. Please send thoughts for him. Thanks. I may not be as active for the next few days due to this reason.
