a few things that you have to remember

1. USE A SLING, a spoon will not shoot nearly as far

2. put your counter weight on a hinge

I just made this crappy little drawing to show you what i mean

Edit: that virtual trebuchet thing is really good you should test it on there before in real life

I once made a treb out of straws and duct tape that launched a grape about 10 ft :) I hit my brother with it :twisted:
