Not for black powder, too much static in pvc.

You can't delete. Only Mods or Admins can. Unless you're one that I don't know about.

Do you mean used as a milling medium or as a mill itself?

My larger mill jar is made from 6" diameter PVC pipe, and I have milled countless batches of BP without mishap. So have numerous others. Using a PVC mill jar is a perfectly safe practice.

You could also spray it with static gaurd just in case.

That wont help, as the static charge is generated by friction associated with the milling media rubbing against the PVC surface as the jar rotates. Static Guard will only eliminate an already present static charge.

However, BP is not terribly prone to ignition via a static discharge, so it doesnt matter a whole lot.

Dont wet mill BP. Adding water will cause the powder to clump into one large ball, and no milling action will occur. Mill dry, using a non sparking medium, and place the mill in a remote location.

My friend and his dad are getting a ball mill. I don't really know what they specifically do, (the only time I fooled with BP was when I emptied out of a few rockets to make blackmatch fuse with), but I'm guessing they're just a fancy device that stirs the various components, (sulfur, charcoal, oxidizer, (NOT KClO4 /w SULFUR!)), together? If so, I don't need one anytime soon.
