How-to Ghillie hood or headcover

Unread postAuthor: origin unknown » Sun May 27, 2007 12:56 pm

This How-To was constructed mainly for Paaiyan, but all of you other people who plan to make a Ghillie might find this useful too. The template for this design is based off how a ski jacket hood is sewn together. Depending on how large you make this, it can be a helmet cover, or a hood. After you make the hood, attach jute twine or the fibers from a burlap bag to each square of netting as needed to complete the process. The recommended size of the squares in the netting is 1"-1.5".

The arrows in the diagram below show were you sew together the netting.

Their are 3 sections of netting cut to make this; 2 right triangles and a long rectangle.
