Well yesterday i was out side trying out my new golf ball barrlel i made and i had just aired my gun up,i only had it filled to 70 psi thank god.But anyways i leaned it up aginst the wall of my shop and went to retreve a golf ball well i get about 100 feet away and then the next thing i hear is a hellashis BOOM!!! so i walk over to see what happend and it had been blown over[thankes to the good old oklahoma wind]and the air tank had shot 30feet across the floor and hit the side of my truck,it had only hit the tire and put a white mark on it.im just glad it didnt hit me.it failed just behinde the 1inch threaded adapeter that screws into the sprinkler valve.this definatly was a waker upper though.

Certainly wouldn't have been good for your health if it had connected.

A picture would certainly be good for reference and the traditional "it looks like ...... happened session".

Yet another reason to use steel pipe and fittings...

One of the many reasons I use steel on just about every single gun mate. Glad to hear your ok. With my PVC marble gun (Only gun I've ever made out of PVC...) I got some pipe insolation foam that was made for that diameter pipe and stuck it over it. It was a good investment because I've always been extremely accident prone...
