with the size of the chambers you need a much longer barrel to maximize power, other than that, the cannon is amazing... What was the box you were shooting?

It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.

the specs are at the beginning of this thread.

The box was a steel fireproof lockbox like one you would hold money in.

The golfball shots were with a 10' GB barrel (1.5" SDR 21 inside 2" SCH 80). The shot with a slug was a 13' long 1.25" SCH 80 barrel.

The 6" parts are all from McMaster, but I think we can also get them locally from a plumbing supply store.

hopefully we can get some better distance/damage shots soon.

according to GGDT, we could break the sound barrier with this gun.

This gun was very expensive. But there were three of us paying for parts, over a period of a year and a half, so it wasn't too bad. But still, none of us could have done it by ourselves. The mega launcher was kind of our target cannon when we built this. Except we wanted to go bigger
