3" Sprinkler Valve Cannon

Unread postAuthor: Jimmy K » Tue Mar 20, 2012 2:04 pm

While I was home for spring break, I decided to throw together another quick pneumatic cannon (AND actually start on my first hybrid! but that's a whole different topic). It's a Toro P220 3" valve smashed onto a 4" by 10' chamber.

Very nice... and to be turret mounted

More battleship turret than bomber turret though... wouldn't you want a multishot? I'm sure you can remove half the chamber volume and not lose much energy while getting much faster refill time.

Maybe have an automated round dropper like the Dragon Fire ;)

Nice cannon! 3" bore, that's awesome, did the pool ball need wadding or a sabot?
