nope... the slide valve is the part at the far right. if you look it moves during the steps.

i think so ,too
i did some thing like that before, with endcap is schrader valve
but if i want adjust time qev open ,i must change size pilot volume.. :(

i think this is how it works (how step 3 in BTB's picture happen)

not the spring push the piston , the pressure in the pilot valve did
so if we ajust volume before and after the pilot valve , we can control how much air we fire(how much pressure drop)
that's theory

That's pretty cool, I even won't say anything about the feet :) shame you don't have a spring reset on the trigger.
