Yet another QEV multishot

Unread postAuthor: Shichimi » Thu May 10, 2012 7:04 am

Hello guys, this is my first gun and first post.
Nothing new - some china QEV,galvanized pipe as chamber,16mm ID barrel and 100-120 psi operating pressure.(takes some time with my puny shock pump)
It can shot 2 or 3 times before pressure drops to somewhere about "hey-its-not-shootin-its-just-farting" :D
I use dart as projectile(nothing special here - just nail, paper amd some glue)
Here some shooting video and damage

PS.And sorry for my bad engrish, i am half chinese\half russian

Not bad :)

By simply adding a slide valve as a pilot and a small sub chamber you will make it much more efficient: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/semi-au ... 23626.html

I would suggest getting your hands on a track pump, something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/Topeak-Blow-Floor ... 57&sr=1-86

http://www.amazon.com/Serfas-FMP-500-Bi ... d_sbs_sg_5

http://www.amazon.com/Silca-Super-Pista ... 2&sr=1-174

That will let you get past 200 psi with much more ease than what you're struggling with to achieve with the shock pump.

Alternatively, a cheaper and less tiring solution is simply to use a fridge compressor, which gives you upwards of 500 psi for no effort.

I too say get a fridge much better and most of the time its free all you need is a pressure gauge and you already have on on your shock pump.

In that case, a track pump is your best bet.
