All Steel and Brass Ball Valve Gun

Unread postAuthor: Solidtwerks » Fri Jan 24, 2014 1:49 pm

This is my second build, and it's all galvanized steel and brass. Operating pressure is currently 120 psi, because that's the highest my mini compressor goes. The barrel is a 3/4 section of steel. As for what it shoots, I've yet to decide.

ball valves are really weak, and hard to open, you should spring load it for faster opening times

Nice build, especially for your second :)
As sagthegreat said, you will probably want to spring load that valve, its a lot easier than it seems, and you will see a big increase in power, and it will be more comfortable to fire

Looks nice. In the future, if you want to upgrade the ball valve get a quick exhaust valve. They are inexpensive and have one of the best opening times.
