This is my first cannon. Because I didn't use primer, I had to use galvanized steel, which is a real [female canine] to carry. It'll mosdt likely be scrapped for parts in the future.

Walrus, I used a hoseclamp to eliminate leaks in the fittings through compression. I didn't use a sprinkler valve becasue I cant find any in my area.

Pimpmann:
Chamber: 2in x 36 in
Barrel: 1.25in x 30 in

Well, at the time I had no clue what primer was. I wasn't a member of spudtech yet so I thought PVC glue would take care of it. That's why the PPP Wannabe has no leaks, because I used primer.

I get 1 1/4 at my local Lowes, they always save me scrap pieces of PVC and let me buy the for like 60c each. It's perfect for shooting my custom wooden disk ammo. Although the thing has a few leaks, it really works well, but now that I realize that the fittings are DWV, I definitely will scrap it for parts. Pretty good for my first gun ever, I must admit.

My first pneumatic has one and a quarter in. tank and also a metal cap ,I put some kind of plumbers pipe dope on the threads and it has no leaks even at 140 psi.I recentlly changed from a ball valve to a modded sprinkler with blowgun actuation .I've been shooting marbles with it . Lots of fun but I can't hit much after about 50 ft. no rifling and they curve a lot sometimes. Some shots seem to go straight for a couple hundred yards. You have a decent looking gun there ,you might add a sprinkler valve later on,it will greatly increase the velocity.

I might put a sprinkler valve on it, but I don't think it's worth it. I might as well rebuild the gun so it has no DWV and is properly constructed.
Thanks for the input though taterjim, your gun sounds pretty awesome as well.
For your problem with marbles curving, you might wanna try a hop up system. Cut a notch in your barrel, and put an O-ring in so it protrueds into the barrel enought to touch the marble when it shoots. It should cause it to spin and go a lot farther.
