Nice simple cannon, looks pretty good, You should upgrade the barrel to 3/4" for paintballs and paint the sprinkler valve(its fine to paint it).

Ive found using a quick connect and a ball valve fills the chamber 2x as fast as a schrader.

He is using 1/2" SDR 21, it fits paintballs very well.

Yeah... funny resemblance there. All it needs is a breech loading mechanism.

Isn't it a bit awkward to pull that blowgun trigger with it facing backwards?

I've used palm facing triggers on other things before and it tends to rock the whole thing a bit on firing.

Neat looking cannon overall.

Looks good for sniping. Small chamber, easy to fill. Long enough to be accurate, short enough to move around. Light weight, powerful. Darts would do well from this cannon. You can search the ammo thread and get some good idea's.

Why cant you just twist the blowgun onto the fitting and additional 1/2 turn to allow the trigger to be operated normally?

You wont strip them if you hold the fitting with a wrench and twist the blowgun.
