i was lazy and didn't know it would weaken my gun. as for the no psi rated valve i was new when i built it and i was proud of it but i guess its trash now. :evil:

The excess primer will not weaken your gun (if you didn't detect from the sarcasm of my other post). Once the solvents in the primer evaporate, you are left with a chamber that is just as integral as it was prior to the application. That is why solvent welds can withstand just as much pressure as the pipe itself.

The fact that you used a DWV bell reducer, however, means that you should keep the pressure under 100psi.

so should i just replace the valve and paint it a good color like black or camo or should i just throw it away. ??? :?:

The valve is rated, but the bell reducer is not.

I would simply paint it, and keep the pressure under 100psi.
