Project Hellfire is underway

Unread postAuthor: Suppressive Fire » Sat Aug 18, 2007 1:06 pm

I've officially started designing Hellfire which is going to be a cartridge ejecting, semi auto gun that may or may not be belt fed. Each individual cartridge will hold either a paint grenade or a nerf football (2in dia) and will be ejected once the round has been fired. I plan on using clide's HEAR valve design in either a single valve or double valve format (thanks for all the help with the HEAR specs clide). I will post a diagram as soon as I finalize one. Open to suggestions, comments, concerns ect.

Its been one of those ideas for the past year+. Theres a few kinks to work out of the design but at least a scale prototype will get built.

EDIT- Due to the obvious competition in the gas operated semi dept, I won't post the design but will keep you guys updated on my progress.
