New Blow gun idea

Unread postAuthor: us sniper » Sun Sep 30, 2007 3:14 am

I got this idea from hotwired's commando gun. This would make a qev or piston semi-auto as long as the rate of fill is fast enough.

I don't get how it works...

I see you fill it with air forcing the "piston" in your valve to the left. But nothing is going to happen when you exhaust it if there is pressure pushing on the piston in both directions with the exhaust in the middle.

Elaborate, since I could be seeing it wrong, it is 4 in the morning after all...

I'm not really sure what is going on either, what are the light blue things?

It seems like you may be over complicating it, you should only need 3 ports to make a 3-way valve.

Here is a thread where iknowmy3tables and I discuss methods for modding a normal blowgun to turn it into a 3-way.

The light blue is the pressurized air, the dark blue are o-rings, and the green is the bolt. Sorry, when I thought of this design it was kind of late and I forgot about what would happen with the air form the co2. The valve would have worked by pushing the green part to the left, releasing the air and stopping the flow from the co2. THis would mean that the blow gun would empty just thee pilot air behind the piston.

Clide- I don't really understand how iknowmy3tables blowgun idea works because of the pics.
