try McMaster for the valve, I've also heard some Walmarts have them with the auto parts, but I've never seen them in stores. what i do is i epoxy the schraeder from a bike inner tube into a brass 1/8 x 1/4 bushing and use that. and sorry, i dont know much about copper.

If you want to give me some money I will run to the local plumbing shop and get one and then mail it to you.

Do what meatballs did. Strip the rubber of a used shrader and epoxy it into brass bushing. With that setup and the copper you could hold probaly around 300-450 psi. But qev's can't hold that pressure you will have to use a brass ball valve or build a piston valve in a tee.

Well then that Ace sucks. You can however order the parts on acehardware.com and ship them to store for free.

Thanks for the informations, i'll use a used schrader valve.
And i don't think i will put more than 100 psi in my gun so i'm safe with that.
