Should I build it? Does anyone know if 1" pipe will suffice for a chamber?

Why not? If I see that correctly, you have a coax tank supplying the sprinkler via the bottom pipe and no piston. Ooor do you have a piston in there, the sprinkler is the pilot and the bottom pipe not holding any air?

Or is it something else entirely? :?:

I'm assuming a piston in there...if barrel is roughly to scale with the tank, yes. Are you shooting airsoft?

Oh I gotcha. I think you'll have plenty of tank, unless you're planning on shooting 5 lb uranium darts or something...

I think it's a neat and compact little design.

I think the fact that it has a full length silencer tells you that you MUST make it :) Looks very cool indeed.
You will recieve lots of good Karma too, saving people from the noise of the launcher :D
