Unread postAuthor: dudeman508 » Fri Jan 23, 2009 11:29 pm

Ok so i added a a piece of sanded copper tube into my half In. barrel hoping it would decrease the spread of my shot gun shells and it worked but not very well im going to make a more drastic version tomorrow. My question is do you guys think that i could work making the hole to small.

Pics will be up tomorrow cant do it right now

So you made a basic choke, I've done that, what I did was take a pvc threaded female reducer, and put a sawed down 1/2 inch cpvc male reducer into it. I only fired safe-T salt through it, but it did decrease the pattern a bit, although because of the uneven texture, sometimes they would jam up and force the air to blow off the choke, but it did work ok!

What are you using as ammo, because that really defines how big your choke can be...
