Parts on McMaster-Carr

Unread postAuthor: moonmaster » Sun Apr 19, 2009 9:46 am

First off, I would like to say, Wow, this is an amazing site. I'm thirteen now and have been lurking from when I was eleven. I thought it would be better for me not to lie about my age and just wait. During waiting I have built a few cannons thanks to this site. I think I'll have a crack at a QEV + Popoff marble gun soon. The only problem is, I can't find either of these anywhere, and I need help finding them. I've heard that they would be on McMaster, but I couldn't find them there. Part numbers for appropriate QEV's and Popoffs (50 PSI ish, my dad doesn't like high pressures) would be appreciated.

First of all, where are you based? They refused to ship to Aus, even though the order was several hundred dollars. They only do very large orders to regular customers outside of us now, but if you're in US your fine.

Welcome to spudfiles, I'll have a look for you.

Here's a pop off safety that comes with multiple springs for when you want moar:

50265K23
Brass Adjustable-Pressure Pop-Safety Valve Multi Range, 1/4" NPT Male, 25-200 PSI
In stock at $4.12 Each

Just enter in the code

Page 967, scroll down to 'F' (right angled valves), you've got a range of sizes there.

Let me know if that helps or you need more. Good luck

I'm in the US, so I don't think that'll be a problem. Thanks.

EDIT: Cool, those popoffs look great. Any chance you could find a good QEV on Mcmaster?

Edit 2: I'm dumb, I didn't realize those were also in your post. Thanks for all the help, inonickname!

Did you not get your money or item? If not, you should have contacted them. There customer service is great, they will refund, or send the item.

Not really. First of all, that's an American price. Second of all, you would need to factor in postage. Third of all, they hardly even ship out of U.S.- due to exportation issues.
