say you have a barlle sealling piston cannon. if you make the piston auto sealling and make a floating o-ring ram rod. could you pump your cannon using the ram-rod in the barrle and the piston as a check valve?

I might not be understanding the concept but, what possible advantage does this offer?

Barrel and pump shaft in one.
At first this seems like a practical and compact idea.

But it isn't that good.
Like others have said there are serious safety issues.
If the check valve (the piston valve) fails to seal, your pump rod and piston will get launched into... you.
With this idea, you will be standing in the line of fire of a loaded gun, so don't do it.

IF you weren't planning on using it, why propose it??? Also, please check your spelling. It's simply atrocious. I can read it, it is just annoying.
