Thats how many pumps of a ordinary bicycle pump?xD. Also, I'll be firing some kind of magnetic ball, instead of standard BB's, these things can take a beating. plan on making 6MM air guns after this...shall we say..initial..experiment. Now the problem is, the stuff that I buy is from a Chinese hardware store 2 blocks from where I live ( I live in the city) and they understand very little English, but I'm pretty sure they don't have 6MM copper pipes, where do you guys buy your materials? ( Aside from Home depot, I'm talking like..online)

This is not going well...the stupid cans have too slow of a release, I'm gonna buy a hose sprayer now..

Lol. Nadjatee, go to home depot and buy some parts that won't explode from a bike pump.

Finally we're getting somewhere

I suggest you buy a blowgun, and a 1/2" nipples

Copper pipe is epoxied in the nipple, which screws in the blowgun nozzle, somethng like this:

Sandwich a correctly sized o-ring between the nipple and the blowgun, and you have your detent.

Your chamber can then be epoxied to whatever fitting is at the bottom of the blowgun.

Yes, I'm aware these fittings will cost some money.

It's inevitable.

This is the launcher I had built when I was 16 with very little cash which I preferred to spend on the surgical spirit they used to pass off as cheap vodka anyway ;)

No blowgun triggers here, I have to make do with a hose trigger...uhhh....my copper pipe isn't threaded

JSR, you got a messenger?

I don't really know what to do, so I'm just going to buy a hose trigger, a 1/2in nipple, epoxy, some o-rings another nipple ( if needed, to connect hose to the air chamber (a water bottle, I got no soda bottles in my house...) It's snowing like hell outside..

Bottle looks like this : http://www.annoyingdesign.org/blog/wp-c ... uts_ps.jpg

you will get nowhere with out using your head dude.

Their hardware certainly is fooked if they don't have a pneumatic blowgun.

lol. Sounds like your attitude :)

As posted above, you should use bottles made for carbonated drinks (even sparkling water for example) instead of non-carbonated products as the latter are not made to contain pressure.

Maybe this is more within your resources ;)

NOOO, don't give me another design, I refuse to look at that xD, I'm alsmost done, I screwed up the valve on the hose because the air was leaking in between the metal and the plastic, but I found a solution for that...
