pcp fitting?

Unread postAuthor: sco77 » Fri Aug 12, 2011 11:09 am

Are the PCP quick disconnect fitting (like on pcp pumps) the same standard QD fitting or is there anything special about them?

They are different, rated for higher pressure and easier to disconnect at high pressure.

You can also get them with check-valve built in. Theyre easier to disconnect because of the smaller SA, but I'd still recommend some sort of bleed valve that you can open to disconnect

There are some brand specific connectors (for example I needthis probe for my FX) but most are identical to those used in the paintball industry, you can buy them quite cheaply off eBay.

The PCP pumps I have looked at all had a bleed valve on it so that's not a concern..
