barrel / air chamber ratio

Unread postAuthor: Major Collins » Sun Oct 30, 2011 5:47 am

one of my past experiments had a 70cm copper barrel (10 mm inner diameter) and for the air chamber i had the same length copper tube but in 22 mm diameter.
I could only pump 110ish psi and becoming very difficult (using a bike pump)

power wasn't that great and pumping for a second time was was too tiring
why would this be?
