3/4" pvc cap as a piston?

well i found that a 3/4 inch cap slides pretty smoothly into a 1inch tee so im going to trie to make a piston from it

What I mean is, usually the piston needs to fit inside of a piece of pipe, not the tee. If you are trying to make a barrel sealer with a 1 inch tee housing, you need to put a small piece of 1 inch pipe into the tee for the piston to slide freely. Also, a 1 1/4 inch end cap or coupling fits perfectly in 2 inch pipe!!
