What can I do with this?

Unread postAuthor: whawhasiscumba » Thu May 02, 2013 6:59 pm

Hi everyone!
I recently found a water boiler pressure safety valve and I was wondering what I could do with it. It doesn't seem like I could do much so I'm open to any ideas. I've been thinking about making a better hammer valve using the body of thing.[/img]http://c.shld.net/rpx/i/s/pi/mp2/3125/aHR0cDovL21lZGlhLmxpZmVhbmRob21lLmNvbS9tZWRpYS9jYXRhbG9nL3Byb2R1Y3QvNC8zLzQzOTYzODhfMDYwMzExbF9za3MuanBn?src=http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.lifeandhome.com%2Fmedia%2Fcatalog%2Fproduct%2F4%2F3%2F4396388_060311l_sks.jpg&d=e43358802deea86fc256d53148196eeda4533edb[/img]π[/img]

Not much, it's not even a pop-off type valve if I recall correctly. Not very useful as a hammer valve either, because it's the "wrong way round".

agree with jack its a pressure relief valve different setup from a standard air pop off valve seen those on hot water heaters and such
