As soon as the compressor starts filling it vibrates like crazy letting all the Air go so there couldnt be more than a couple pounds of pressure

Make sure the arrows are facing your barrel not your chamber

Do you have a very big chamber/very weak compressor? try holding your hand over the barrel as you fill to allow some pressure to build up.

Are you sure there aren't any leaks in your pilot area? Show us some pictures of your setup, it will help us help you.

Sounds like you may have had some grit or something in the valve that was keeping it form sealing properly. Sometime flushing with water (since that's what they were designed for) will clean the valve out. Or sometimes it'll fix itself after being (attempted to) cycled multiple times.

Diaphragm vales really hate the shavings from cut PVC and it doesn't take much to make the diaphragm not seal. Water will usually clean the valve out more effectively than will just air.
