2162fps pneumatic

Unread postAuthor: Anatine Duo » Sat Mar 04, 2017 1:28 pm

Apologies if this has been posted here... I did try a search but no match.

I just finished skimming all the pneumatic threads and was fascinated to watch people and launchers develop!

Also fascinating was the attempts to design supersonic pneumatics. This thread combines the valveless design with some big pressure http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/ind ... c=102604.0

It's interesting... I bought heavily into the argument "you can't propel faster than shockwave velocity of the propellant" though there is evidence to the contrary (or just incorrect interpretation) over the decades.

Nice find!

I had posted this a full decade ago, didn't expect to see it applied at high pressures.
