The Rube Goldberg ready for first test fire, the ball valve does leak a bit as predicted so the shot has to fired quickly after the chamber is charged, might try and shim the seal to try and stop the leak. Fired 6mm airsoft in the 1/4" barrel and it was reasonably accurate at short distance. Mechanism works great and trigger pull is quite light.

When I had nothing, I did a lot. Now that I have everything, I do not do anything. Damned karma

Made a shim to tighten the ball valve seals, used a piece of plastic milk bottle, it's good stuff for shims and low friction washers.

Seems to have stopped most of the leak, now I can charge it and fire still with good pressure left, I took it up to 150psi.
It's pretty heavy when held out at arms length, I can see why most shots missed in the old duels. :o

Reshaped the mechanism a bit, it cocks and fires now as I wanted it.

Great job, love the table-top fill station :) shame about the loss around the loading port but as you say, it's worth the convenience.
