Chicken Gun

Unread postAuthor: Mr.Taterhead » Sat Oct 21, 2006 6:41 pm

Just watched Mythbusters and they made this cool Chicken Gun. They use it to test aircraft windsheilds. Pretty cool. At 50psi the chicken launched at the same speed as at 120psi. Huge air tank and a butterfly vavle, pipe must have been like 10" or some thing. Anyhow check it out if you get a chance online or on tv.

Dee dee dee,
I dislike mythbusers because the bust myths without much thought.
They overlook somethings.
Maybe it could happen, but not the way they do it.

They would get more preformance if they used a triggered burst disk.
Butterfly valves suck when used in air cannons.
