attaching a bike pump

Unread postAuthor: keep_it_real » Mon Jan 08, 2007 8:29 pm

How do you attach a bike pump to the chamber. I'm guessing you use barb to mip adapter (is that what you call it?) and just push it into the bike pump. Is that right? Will this stand some pressure?

You either tap or stick a schrader valve into the chamber.
the schrader valve needs to have thread on it to be tapped and if you cant get those you will need a push-in type one that has a bulb at the bottom which you like jam in.

Next time search or use the spud wiki. This is covered quite alot.

Sorry, I probably didn't explain it well enough. I'm attaching a hand pump on the gun. The hand pumps don't have a tube coming out of them. So somehow I need to make my own tube (using vinyl tubing) that sticks into the pump but I don't know who to attach the tube to the bike pump where the schrader valve normally goes.

Does that make sense...

nth_power already did it here but it's a small picture so it's hard to tell.
