Yeah, from what I've heard from good sources, Only a fraction of the barrel length needs to be rifled for rifling to work the same. (?) The rifling should be on the breech end though. A plastic cup shape or wadding behind the shot would be needed to prevent leaking through where the rifle grooves ar...

umm what about a semi auto pellet rifle with a spring fed mag? Or a five barreled gatling type mini-gun (paintball?) design... It could have a chamber for each valve with liquid stored gas filling each chamber too maybe. A cam or lobe shape to press a sleeve blocking the magazine and same to depres...

... 2 - To put a bike schrader into an endcap, drill a hole through the cap that is the same size as the shaft of the schrader and work the schrader in backwards (from the inside of the cap, out)... I've always used metal (chrome) shraders from auto supply stores. They have a larger diameter metal ...

Yeah, they might not melt, but it looks like a bunch of heat and pressure will be more focused at them than other designs. If you could find shraders cheap enough, and the metal type dust caps, Maybe the shrader with metal dust cap (drop o' lead inside cap) could blow out of threads as the projectil...

...Hmm...time to hit the drawing board.... after i do college app crap   YMBASI!!! (you make statements like that) :P Yeah, pocket size IS doable I now see (noname's reply, DavidVaini, etc.). Course a co2 tyre filler will give about a 3second blast. Unless connected to a dummy co2 and l...

PVC bursts into perfectly sized shrapnel... Although not too dangerous alone, when filled with BB's and held near one's body, it will be. Besides PVC weakens with the cold CO2 will definately provide. You mentioned "120 PSI"...My idea is to upturn a propane tank, held on a belt hook (similar to carr...

Time to BuMP this!!! It's exciting!!! Anyway, What about innovative design guns with multiple bores? Please don't split it. There is an innovative catagory IIRC. Personally I'd have done a large burst-disc with revoling chambers and single barrel, OR a 1 gallon "Fantastic" detergent bottle with atle...

IDK about "Landfills filling up with CO2 cartridges" which he mentions TWICE! :x Seems like the tiny co2 cart.s would benefit landfills since they're made of steel and the landfill could be mined for iron at a later date. Near where I was living, they had to install methane torches at the landfill t...

My plan is to put a co2 can on my back and run a remote (as they call it in the paintball world) to the launcher. My concerns are the valves. The qev on the xm2 is rated at 300 psi and the blowgun trigger is only rated at 150 psi. I understand from my search that they can handle more than they are ...
