u need a spring, a piston, a chamber for the piston to slide in, a small bore barrel. Design it to these limits: small sliding movement of piston (esp if barrel isnt long). Very high spring tension, lightweight as possible piston. the exact design is up to the personal tastes of the builder. Id say ...

Hmmmm, its a hybrid tho, it makes a big bang, not necesarrily a sonic boom tho :( - Though i hope it is :) update: Blew a 1inch sch40 barrel with 7 or 8x (hard to tell which because of dodgey gauge, chamber was presurised to 110psi prior to ignition (if gauge is accurate, it appears damaged). New ga...

dont worry about what ur shooting atm. your main focus is to get a good explosive mixture. Run the launcher witha short barrel and no ammo. when it ignites take note of the flame exiting the barrel, it should be a healthy blue tip / orange base. after the explosion pump air throught he chamber to ru...

okay, does ur meter feture two ball valves, and a pressure gauge between these two valves?? - between the propane and the first ball valve there should be a regulator. make sure its setup liek that. Instead of going and confusing urself try this solution, inject 2psi increments into the chamber, and...

ROFL scotty :P, back on topic, for small bore hybrids (my results where with 1inch lever couplings) 4x + disposable plastic cups (cut the bottom out) work beautifully, esp 5x+, very cheap too.

hey scotty, mines smaller than 500ml id say, i forget the exact dimensions of the chamber as i got it custom machined from a solid piece and ive forgotten what dimensions it is (keep in mind this hybrid was about 99% complete for last 8 months or so, and all memory of the dimensions is long forgotte...
