best size bolt to use?

I almost have my next cannon finished I just need to bolt the bushing that holds my pilot valve into the back of the tee. I was wondering what size bolts you all normally use for this. Its a 2" tee by the way.

As far as shooting "things" at people goes,..I guess some of you have never been to the driving range. There is a guy driving around on an "armoured" cart, picking up the balls, it's just expected that you'll try to bounce them off the cage. Good practice too. I used the same set of McGregor ...

I personally have never seen the problem with using soda bottles. So maybe they can't hold as much pressure as pvc or other types of chambers but I can't recall seeing one that failed explosively.

Although to add to that, I do not think that the air pressure is 1500 psi, I would think it would be an enormous ordeal of safety and quality restrictions to make an air/water tank hold 1500 psi, I imagine it is only the pressure of the water flow from the nozzle. i guess that makes sense but if th...

possible high pressure pump?

i was looking at some pressure washers the other day and got to thinking it would be really nice to have a compressor that could reach those kinds of pressures. then i remembered the garden hose compressor idea that i saw somewhere on here(no link at the moment) and thought "hey that would work woul...

selection was kind of limited seeing as how i was shopping at my local lowes. they had a small selection of o-rings none of which fit nice enough as they were. i already cut and glued an o-ring(fairly tight fit but i bought some silicon lubricant) so i'll see how that goes. as for the washer i grabb...

stirrup pump construction questions

I am currently in the process of building a stirrup pump but have run into a few problems. my first problem is that i could not find any o-rings that are an exact fit in 3/4" type L copper. would it be better to use one that's slightly to small and stretch it over something or is cutting a piece out...

i just wasn't sure if the fact that they were cast would make any kind of difference as to how much pressure they could hold so i figured i'd check just in case. but after seeing your answers i went out to lowes and bought all the pieces i need for a pump. should have it made by tomorrow :) and shor...

thanks for the compliments(and repeatedly pointing out the coupler  )

as for the pressure gauge being where it is, i wanted to put it somewhere that had two layers of pvc and since the piston is in the end i decided to put the gauge in the front
