Thank you guys for all the info. I am leaning toward a piston bbmg to help control the use of ammo, not sure though.

I had forgotten about co2's tendency to freeze things. I don't see any breakage happening with the materials I have planned but I don't want the dang thing freezing to my hand, that would suck. I'll look into an HPA tank thanks.

Stainless steel block bbmg?

Was wondering if making a bbmg that amounts to a burnt latke style gun made from seamless steel and running off co2, pressure washer handle in place of the blowgun is a good plan. Simple, not too expensive, and durable, almost like my personal spudgun tri-fecta.

I might throw a prototype together beforehand out of pvc just for fun but I doubt it, the mechanism for the lever action isn't exactly the easiest thing to make and without the use of the shop (they won't let me use their tools on pvc, no way lol) i'd ruin more plastic then I even need for the proje...

I made a couple of pvp and sprinkler valve pneumatics, just ones that ran off of my bike pump. This will be my first serious attempt at a co2 powered cannon, I have everything but a cheap adapter piece to make my pait-ball tank fit my regulator and I finally got access to a machine shop so I was goi...

Been away for a long time

I've been away for a long time now and am amazed by some of the new cannons that have been made. I am currently planning a drum-mag fed lever action pneumatic and was wondering what I should use as a pilot, i'm looking to be running at around 300psi max for the prototype, 800psi un-regged co2 for th...

Been a while

I have been away for some time now, lots of nice cannons been made lately, good job all. I have been busy while I was gone, as soon as I get a working camera, mines a pos, I will post pics of what I've been working on. Nothing too special but I like what I've cooked up, my project in progress is fai...

They'll work? I wasn't sure if they'd function properly or not. I know they can take the pressure but wasn't quite certain it would work properly.

Been a while

I haven't posted in a while and I doubt I'll manage to finish before the deadline for the power contest but if I could get a little advice I might be able to pull it off... I'm finishing up my high pressure piston and I'm at a loss for a trigger for the 800+ psi. Any ideas? Hammer valve or something...

didn't mean earlier to sound like I wasn't going to come back, just need a break. the fault with the cannin I mentioned was not builder fault, I dropped it and it broke. all metal, just sub-standard parts... I mearly needed a break to clear my head and calm myself from such a stupid mistake lol. thi...

irate

I finished the coaxial I had mentioned building the other day, dropped it and broke it... it was ok, not a very clean build but I like it. little bugger never even got test fired before it broke so i'm a little angry and discouraged. I am taking a leave from spudding for a while, the 200 dollar wast...
