Well, it seems i cant find a source for 500 PSI :( so ill have to settle with 150-200, at any rate i have my valve all finished just working on my piston, going to use a example i saw a while back, had 2 o rings and a kind of check valve in it, ball bearing with a spring and a gasket i believe, and ...

Nice, maybe ill try the 1" Ball, i may have to look into a Brass nipple then, the one i have isnt entirely smooth, also in showcase caus when im done ill edit the first post :), if someone still wants to move it their more than welcome to, ill post my valve in a little bit when i take pictures

All Steel 2" Piston Valve

Hey guys been a while but im trollin and lurkin around again, So Im goin for 500psi or more on this build, ive got most of my pieces together but i dont think i can get 500PSI with a plastic Sprinkler valve, was trying to think of what to use for my pilot release, Ideas? i have a 1" Ball on hand but...

wanted to avoid the sliding t thing, since a ball valve would give the best possible seal me thinks, and not to be rude techie, but this is in the Pneumatic section so it wouldnt be a combustion, and its PVC, never seen a metal pneumatic GB cannon

Ive been working on my next golf ball cannon, ans was trying to add in a clip of some kind, i was thinking of a ball valve drilled out, or a t ball valve(couldnt find that one) but i cant find a ball valve that will take a golf ball the same way a Golf Ball barrel will EDIT: Piston is pausing before...

im pretty sure your lookin at this backwards pressure comes in from the left and when you push a button an electro magnet pulls the plunger back releasing the air, they have ones that operate between 0-3000psi

i may just rig the old drive to a cordless drill and use it that way, since i had to cut it apart, still a really nifty toy i know which line is intake and out take on it so id be easy to setup

i was thinking about that too, since i cant get that compressor that i have to work, tried to replace the starter and all the other electronic component but still nothin, so im going to drain the oil and cut it open

Anyways back to the topic, anyone know where to find a quieter 12V compressor mines loud as hell, i figure i could attach the loud one to the sniper and the quieter one to my cannon, ive been looking around and i cant really find DB ratings

You would be surprised how much energy it takes to stop someone dead. Unless you have a powerful gun, it's better to defend your home with a knife. i dont think you can make anything that powerful with a sprinkler valve, but i wouldnt be surprised if my golfball cannon was powerful enough to kill o...
