ok so i know my gun fires so here is my question i have a detachable barrel. the male adapter is 8" from the combustion chamber. if i load a projectile behind the adapter, it gets hung up, if i put it in fron of it, most of the pressure escapes via the adapter and the projectile barely moves. i have...

i think the reason why acetelyne is feared is because of its detonation speed and temperature. not to mention is unstableness. My dad is a welder and he said he would never dream of using oxy-actetylene in a PVC or ABS gun. he said he would only do it wiht like 3/8" steel

proper technique of chamber fans

is there a certain technique dealing with chamber fans that yeilds the most power? For instance, do you leave the fan running while injecting fuel and firing?

are you trying to flatten pipe?

use a pot full of cooking oil, you dont want it too hot, probably around 300-350 F, or medium high heat

i can safely comfirm tha gasoline does not dissolve PVC. last night, after reading about this, wen to my garage where i cut a portion of 3/4" sch40 PVc and soaked it in gasoline overnight. By today in the afternoon, the pvc was still intact with no harm done to it. so it is safe to say that gasoline...
