are there any issues to be caused by bending the air tank?
i bent mine upwards so that it meets the barrel at the end, just wandering if any one had had problems...

ooookay air tank is on and had a few test shots, so far pumped it up to 10 bar and it sounds pretty powerful shot it at a steel sheet with my .177cal pellets and it left a nice dent, i think if i got some heavier steel bb pellets it would go right through as the ones i have are lead and are a bit so...

well im hoping to get it up to around 200psi, possibly higher.

i only mentioned the .177 pellets earlier as they are the ones i have. It will fire any 4.5mm round.

Ill put up a rough diagram in a bit....

haha ahhh shiiiit, i was hoping there was a really simple answer that i had overlooked i stuck a tap washer over the end, instead of the bushing thing, and the increased surface area seemed to stop the leak mostly. the only problem is that the tap washer is wider and will restrict the air flow a bit...

anyone - im having issues making the end of my valve air tight, just blowing on it you can hear a small amount of air leaking through. its basically just a steel washer on the ens of the t section, then a thick rubber bushing type thing on the moving bolt, you can kinda see it in the pic i put up be...

@LovableAirGuns thanks ^_^ i know it looks a bit rough at the moment but im sure it will be ok! what size 'T' did you use? by the way? mine is like a 22mm so i didnt think i would need to file down the bolt as there is loads of room for the air to get by.. or should i do it anyway? @squidchicken yea...

yeah, i dont know if it would be more effective to just make it a dump valve

i like the idea of not having to pump up the tank each time, but i would rather have one powerful shot than multiple weak shots
