Like CS has posted only way you will get a air tight seal able to handle compression is going to be with tools. I use 3 wrap arounds of white PTFE tape then crank it as tight as possibly prefect seal no leaks. Even if you coat them in jb weld or epoxy which I would not recommend it won't have enoug...

If teflon tape and elbow grease does not work, try some epoxy or j b weld when you thread it together..............

Nice build evan... very cool design.. looking to see some ggdt results. I cant see it opening faster than a dust collector valve... Awesome though...Love the design.....

You shouldnhave went with less screws holding that back cap in. Why so many?? 8 would have been plenty. This is where my supah valve broke due to all these screws.... Still nice thiugh... (1500LBF on end cap)/(8 screws * 1/8" wide screw *.25" thick pvc tee) = 6000psi, I think pvc can handle 11000 p...

A 2 inch rubber sanding drum is the best piston I have ever used. Just put a washer on the front and back along with a neoprene sealing face, a bolt going through the middle andyour good to go.. you can toghten or loosen the bolt to adjust it. You can get them at harbor freight for cheap money...

Block that eq. Hole, you dont need it. Next wrap that piston with one layer of electrical tape around piston. Now get rid of that clear hose and hook up the blowgun direct.. Lube piston too with plumbers grease or vaseline...also are you filling with a compressor??? Some pistons will not seal off of...
