What size threading is this?

Recently i decided it would be appropriate to get of my arse and get a job. So i did, and its pretty well paying too, so hopefully i will soon stop annoying you with my 'what is' and 'what if' posts and have some completed guns up soon :) Anyway, i was wondering if anyone knows what threading the en...

Paintball regulators?

These paintball regulators, they don't look like much.

How do you determine the regulated pressure and what size threading is on each end [in NPT]

Sorry if it seems like a silly question but they are a rarity in Australia.

If you have a ToyWorld or hobby store, they usually stock brass and aluminium tubing. Just bring a BB or calipers along so you get the right fit ;D

you should go up to 3/8 or 1/2'' to alow air to flow around the bb behind the one stuck in the dent.
I will have a look at the T piece, as it may be that only one BB can fit in the 'chamber' with none behind it. It is an amazingly tight fit, almost like it was made for it.

Proportions are important
Incorrect, the T fitting i am using is 1/4" NPT. The BBs fit perfectly, without any modification.

but i think 500 psi would rupture it, im not sure maybe if you have a 500psi blowgun. This model of blowgun is actually a spray gun, and can take 800+ psi ;D Detent aye? Sounds good. Questions: 1. Does the detent increase the velocity of the projectile? Because it has to gain more direct pressure t...

Is it worth it? What are the benefits?

So my big plan in terms of projects is a HPA backpack and good all round BB gun [that can shoot both airsoft and steel BBs]. I already know what i want the BB gun to look like, but i have come to an intersection and i do not know which way to turn! What are the pros/cons of having a QEV added to the...

Could you avoid modding the valve by having a bleed valve between the HPA tank and a small chamber? The chamber would fill to the PSI of the tank then when fired would begin to slowly refill via the bleed valve. Because it would be at a low pressure for an amount of time would it be sufficient to le...

As suggested in a previous thread, you should be able to remove the stainless piece and dramatically shorten the valve. yes, but the end piece of the valve has no threaded fitting, and would make attaching any sort of receiver and furthermore barrel a major pain. what inclines you to modify a ~$150...
