I'm looking for a way to connect a 2.5" steel pipe for a barrel to a 6" PVC chamber. I have no idea how I'm going to do it. Does anyone here have any ideas? I'd be nice to find thin wall 6" or even 8" steel tubing and then I'd just weld it (I wanted the whole thing metal to begin with).

Hasn't blown up yet but I'm still waiting to get vid of it. Something's going on with my regulator I think (cheap harbor freight one) I need like 88-90psi so I figured why even have a regulator but somehow it only lets 60 psi into the meter down the hose and there's no leaks so something isn't worki...

I can't find 2.5" ID steel tubing?!
I'm having some trouble finding steel tubing with 2.5" nominal diameter to launch bottles from and also tennis balls. Does anyone have a source that isn't brand new tubing from suppliers I've goggle'd that want WAY too much $ for a damn pipe? I mean, I've *found* it but I'm not paying that much for ...

ChainSAW! LOL! Awesome. Didn't see that before. Point of criticism: it seems like you used DWV fittings for the gun. No I made sure they were all sch20 PVC at least but I did drop the reducer fitting while putting the chamber fan in and it shattered :( but they are crappy to begin with. I got a new ...

Advanced Cannon: The Breechloading 70mm
Hey everyone. Here's my first "advanced" cannon that is propane, not "spray-and-pray." I built it as an over/under design. I have some quick disconnects on the hoses I should've used on all ends but two are hose barbs coming off the meter. Oh well. The hoses have paint on them or something once it a...

I got a 12v D brushless fan and wired two 9v batteries together on a pushbutton switch. It's been working so far, it's a large fan in a 4" chamber so it mixes the air well and fast. You aren't holding the button down for long periods of time. I think it will last as long as I need it to, it's not ru...

@#$! My reducer fitting broke? WTF?
So I spent hours putting a fan in a 4"-to-2.5" reducer fitting. I knocked it off the workbench and it hit the floor and cracked, busted pieces off on the conical part (reduced part) and the 2" stub glued into it stayed in but pieces of the fitting broke off around it. WTF? Are these that crappy of p...

5v chamber fans?
I saw they make a 5v version of brushless fans. Is there any adverse effect on the fan if I used a 9v bettert to run it faster? My reasoning is that it's better to have more flow from running a 5v fan faster rpms at 9v than to have an underperforming 12v fan runninf at 9v. Yeah I know I can just buy...

Yes it has, see fred's creation! http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/semi-final-stainless-steel-gun-t10610,start,15.html  Oh, wow. Where exactly did he get all that stainless pipe from? That's a small fortune right there. Holy pewp. I would LOVE to get some thin wall steel and build an entire me...

Manual crank chamber fan?
I am liking the idea of an entire cannon having absolutely no electronic components like batteries, etc.... just a piezo igniter and wondered also if it was doable to have a hand-cranked chamber fan somehow?
Has it ever been done? Could it be done? Like, with a crank and worm gear or something?
