I work at the airport in my small town and on my free time, I will put AVGAS (100 Octane gasoline) into old spray bottles. If I can adjust the nozzle to spray a nice mist, it works perfectly. I ditched the Aquafina bottle idea for the time being. I decided to start with the basic pill bottle. I am very satisfied! It fires the first time, every time with one spray of my old Tommy cologne. I still plan on working out the bugs on the 20oz bottle though.

I got mine working! It is so much fun. However, the bottle (due to it being lightweight plastic I assume) gets quite warm and will begin to warp after only a few shots. But that is easily replaced.
