How much pressure do you have and why do you have a ball valve when the slide valve shuts the air of.
Is it to so you can regulate it a bit?

So you tighten the spring for higher pressure?

Could you use something like this for an air pressure regulator?

Cant you turn the slide valve around the other way?

Here is another design. Would it work better than the first? I would built it into wood so it looks more gun like.

Using a slide valve would work better but it would take the gun like effect out of it

I have not yet modelled my design yet, so I don't really know what the dimensions should be. i want to be able to move the gun around easy.

Im thinking of making it a bolt action

i could just switch the ball valve with the regulator
