Haha good point, I mean why do we need to know how much damage a gun does to a person...i think there is some kind of evil plan going on here....

But actually it would be cool to compare the damage of different things. You dont really need something with the consistancy of flesh to compare shots.

Squeaks it would take a lot of work and effort to produce hydrogen with electrolysis. I have done small scale versions of it and it is not a rather fast process. There is also the problem with pressurizing it.

Howabout just building a gun that shoots cans? It will be cheaper for both cannon, and the ammo, and you will still get a nice exploding effect when the can hits something.

I still dont get the point of having part of the sabot in front of the ammo. What purpose does having some in the front serve?

Yep minis can be surprisingly powerful for their size. They are always a fun thing to have around.

I think he is saying it will be a pain to have to open and close the blogun at the same time you are trying to fill it. Why not just use a ball valve with a male quick connect on it?

Judgement thats not making much sense to me. If the halves are glued to the cardboard then there is a good chance the ammo wont even leave the sabot and the whole thing will be gone, unless thats the point of it.

Yeah most of the time but if you take the risk and it leaks then your screwed.

I wouldnt count the price of the tap and die set into your gun cause im sure they will be used another time in some other project.

It should work for a few shots anyway. Im not sure how strong that foam stuff can get but it might just disenigrate when fired. And why would you need a sabot in front of the ammo?

Use a pen tube and just use like epoxy or even hot glue to hold it in. Make sure it fits tight in the hole first though so the glue doesnt have to do as much work. Just search around and you will get some ideas.

I like it. This gun would work really well with a hopper right before the rubber thing. Nice idea with the rubber tube though

Nice and simple combustions are always fun. What kind of ignition system are you switching to? And i would reccomend a chamber fan too. They are cheap enough and anyone good enough to build a gun can install it.
