It doesnt really work that well since the cannons don't shoot in a proper straight line. Once you get to know your gun, you know what to do to make it accurate.

Don't buy disposable camera's, get them free. If you go to a photo processing store and say do you have any used disposable cameras, they'll just give you them. They may not like the term "railgun" so call it a linear acelleration device, or just make up another reason. In my experience most people ...

Be careful heating it too much, you may damage it. I agree with schmanman aluminium would be a lot better in most respects.

I wish I could get a stungun, bu i live in the uk :(, i've wanted one since i saw it on the internet when I was like 10. I have decided that instead of connecting them together, ill just hook them up to multiple spark gaps and trigger them at almost the same time with one button.

Use a 9v battery and 2 AAs, that'll give you plenty of power without the need for extra parts

I find it really hard to get flint sparkers so I don't use them. The BBQ ones are good because you can put them with the fan control in a fancy looking box. Not only does it sell for more, but it looks better for boasting purposes 8)

connecting Piezo ignitors

Does anyone know a way of connecting up (preferrably multiple) piezo cigarette ignitors? I am tyring to connect as many as 10 in series to give a 100KV spark. Any ideas on whether it will work? (yes I will fire them all at once)
