I have been testing sch40 abs in a pneumatic up to 110 psi for many shots, and it works beautifully, It's also more tolerant of cold weather, a definite plus in canada

I have done more testing with my abs gun and found it can keep shooting at 95-110 psi without failure, it has had probably 100 shots through it and i plan on testing with higher pressure just so that i can share the results

You could run the power through an arc welder if you need some serious amps.
eg a small 120v lincoln hobbyweld arc welder takes 120v and 15 amps, and outputs 50 amps at 20v.

for your piston you could still use pvc rod, it would be lighter that steel, therefore faster, a solid pvc piston inside the pressurized metal tube will hold up

Dinsdale was the name of a character in a monty python sketch,
he is not actually shown, its a few characters talking about 'dinsdale', he liked to do things like nail peoples heads to the floor.
I use it because my dad has been calling me that for as long as i can remember

i prefer jb weld myself, it just sucks to wait 24 hours.
I cut a disc of hard paper (like from a cigarette pack) and stuff it in the hole
before i fill the hole with goop, to prevent glue from running through the hole and on to the diaphragm.

NOS would eat a small engine like that, a little 3.5 blows pretty easy without any help.
the bright side is that they are easy to rebuild after you blow the valves out them.

The guy driving that cart picking up balls is heavily armored in that thing, all a golf ball can do to him is scare the shit out of him from the sound of the impact.
i figure if he's driving around downrange on a driving range with a steel cage
around him, he's fair game

Thats funny, today I got 110 psi out of it. By the way I'm not a teenager, I'm 24 but i just wont grow up. I don't shoulder fire or hold my cannon, I stand it up on a pile of tires and use a blowgun on a 2 foot hose to fire it. if it blows I know i'm not getting injured any more than I have been fro...

Whether or not it is safe really depends on how much pressure you plan on feeding it. if you keep it under 100 psi i can't see there being a problem.
other people on this site are much more knolegable than I, so you should get more opinions.

I just checked it out and I was wrong, my spyder is not regulated down to 125 psi, I thought remembered the manual saying about having 125 psi operating pressure.
I'm gonna check WGP and see what i find there.

nice simple action, the only thing i'd add is to O-ring it for a better seal
