look, i'm not here to argue about the performance of the cannon i already have, and i dont really care whether people beleive me on how it performs. (and yes i meant yards, not feet) the point of this thread was to toss around the idea of the triple valve idea and to see what input i could get. i'm ...

I have to admit i havent measured the distances, but i know i am getting well past 1000 yards with shaped and saboted projectiles, this is aiming at about 45 degrees up from a slightly elevated location. not all projectiles fly that far, if they tumble whatsoever they wont go as far, and actually i ...

i agree with fireman, you are probably blocking the movement of the diaphragm with you're blowoff. i have the identical valve on my cannon, and it works great as long as pressure is high enough, below 100 psi it doesn't seem to open as fast

tri-valve pneumatic

I've been toying around with the idea of a new cannon. I'm thinking about a W shaped compression chamber/base with 3 modded sprinkler valves angled into the barrel, these 3 valves will be connected to a manifold with another sprinkler valve for a blow off. the compression chamber will hold approxima...

Incorporate a c02 powerlet in the design, on impact it is pierced and pressurizes the grenade until it bursts. make the body out of an asswipe tube and duct tape, so that there is no shrapnel. the c02 burst will actually throw paint well, unlike these piston or burst disk ideas. by pushing paint thr...

This is supposed to be airsoft/bb/pellet discussion, true it is basically all homebuilt here but i feel it is still relevant, I would love to see one of these homemade paintball 'snipers' or bbmgs punch a beercap at 25 yards everytime. Also i am sure many people here are into air rifles, and given m...

Even simply porting the barrel can silence a cannon alot, 4 rows of 6 inch linear porting on mine works awesome
